Terms of Service

Last updated 2 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and DueTrack. By creating an account you accept them. They are written to be read, so please do.

The one that matters most. DueTrack is a reminder service, not a guarantee. Renewing your documents on time remains your responsibility — see Reminders are best-effort.

1. The service

DueTrack records when your documents expire and reminds you before they do. You may add documents, scan or upload them so their details can be read, group them by the person they belong to, and receive reminders.

2. Your account

You need an account, because these are sensitive documents and they should reach only you. You must give an email address you control, keep access to it secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@duetrack.co if you believe someone else has reached it.

3. Your content

The document details you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of running the service for you — reading a scan, calculating a countdown, sending a reminder, syncing a calendar event you asked for. We claim no other rights over them and use them for nothing else.

You must not use DueTrack to store details of documents you have no right to hold, or to do anything unlawful with them.

4. Reminders are best-effort

We work hard to get reminders right, but you should not rely on DueTrack as your only safeguard against a document lapsing. Notifications depend on your device, your browser, your operating system's permissions and your network — any of which can silently prevent one arriving. Scanned dates can be misread, and the service can be unavailable.

Renewing on time remains your responsibility. We are not liable for a missed renewal, a rejected application, a cancelled trip, a fine, or any other consequence of a document expiring.

5. Reading documents

The scanner reads what it can and tells you when it cannot. Where a date is uncertain the field is left empty rather than filled with a guess. Always check the details shown against the document itself before relying on them; you can edit any field at any time.

6. Plans and payment

The Personal plan is free, holds up to five documents, and shows advertising. Premium removes the limit and the advertising, and is offered three ways:

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live. Payments are taken by Stripe; your card details never reach us. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and we will tell you before any price change affects you.

7. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from within the app. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep Premium until the period you have already paid for ends, and nothing is deleted when it does — your documents stay, you simply cannot add new ones beyond five.

If you are unhappy with a payment, write to hello@duetrack.co within 14 days of it and we will refund it. This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you have under consumer law.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the service. If DueTrack were ever to shut down, we would give lifetime purchasers reasonable notice and a way to export their data; a lifetime purchase does not oblige us to operate the service indefinitely.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or to anyone else's account; do not resell it; and do not use it to store material that is unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep DueTrack running continuously but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of what you paid.

10. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time, and we will delete it along with its holders and documents. We may close an account that breaches these terms, or after a long period of inactivity, having first tried to reach you at the address on the account.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: the service is provided as it is, without warranties; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost opportunity; and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, or £50 if you paid nothing.

If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that consumer law gives you and nothing here takes them away.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will say so in the app and update the date above before it takes effect. Continuing to use DueTrack afterwards means you accept the new terms; if you do not, close your account and we will refund any unused paid period.
